Is primarily in SEA with regional bases and imports providing a variety of materials and components used in the pre-manufacturing process of the buildings. Consistency and accuracy through tighter tolerances for materials and joints are able to be set and maintained. Production line technology and systems are used within the factory environment ensuring this is far superior to traditional onsite construction. Superior quality buildings is able to be achieved over onsite construction, as aspects of the manufacturing process are automated (with some still hand-made) crafted and all undertaken within clean factory conditions, not onsite exposed to the weather and traditional site conditions.
The time-line control and quality of the finished product in spite of bad weather conditions, is a major advantage of the factory manufacturing environment, as opposed to traditional construction onsite. Labour quality and shortages are avoided by permanent factory staff trained and retained for long periods within controlled and safe environments. Staff can be trained to become experts in a certain aspect of the process on the production line, enabling far superior labour efficiency, see diagram below.
